Or if you need inspiration to create new ideas.
Did you know?
I discovered I had a knack for design later in life, during a break from medicine. At that time, I played around with different mediums, as a hobby, which included home design, vintage styling, & furniture refinishing. I then took a dip into the digital space & followed it up with a deep dive. I’ve stayed here ever since, designing, massaging, & reshaping anything & everything that comes my way; from project curation, to website-building, to creating content. It’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
“Realizing I was increasingly turning into a cog within a system that’s minimized all the sacrifices I made to be there. Feeling like I was being stripped away of freedoms that should come with the level of my education.”
That was my response, to a physician who asked what made those of us not working clinically to seek out a non-clinical career.
Those were the main two drivers of my decision to reinvent what doctors can do with their degrees.
We’re not going to pave the path overnight, nor to lay down the foundation to innovative new fields in one fell swoop. It will happen gradually, over the decades that follow.
I live and breathe creating. I truly believe that this is what I was meant to do. Today, I strategize, come up with unique ideas, & create content for ventures ranging from large companies to individuals’ brands.
I’m a content creator. That means I like to have fun. Sometimes (ok, ok, many times), you’ll get to see my silly, and extra creative side. Like this time, below, when I graphically manipulated photos to be featured next to Marilyn Monroe (and don’t think I didn’t make up a story to go along with the pic with my bestie, Mary!)
