On formidable vulnerability.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know I specialize in content-creating on the iPhone?

Yep. Everything I share is whipped up by this little pocket-machine.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I pieced this post together to ‘dissect’ an iPhone goodie; I call it “A boy and a surfboard.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love that the subject stands vertically linear, while his surroundings, the water, is accentuated by linear horizontal intersection. It really frames things neatly and makes it easier for me, creating the composition, to accentuate him; to help him stand out.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I edited the photo to get more distinct coloring and feel, in order to give it a ‘foreboding’ vibe. The sky, though formidable, appears to also be pointing at the boy, in an almost ironic request for a hug. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love what it stands for: the duality that so many of us struggle with. Like the sky, we stand formidable and strong. But on the inside, we’re vulnerable, too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s healthcare workers, in a nutshell.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the human struggle, from which no one is exempt.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Play around with our photos. And with meaning. It’s fab & it’s fun.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

(In the photo stands my son, in PR. Link to a blog I pieced together, including a video I created of our adventures: https://drcorriel.com/puerto-rico-baby/)
